How nice this was, a simple and happy little tune about the comforts of a bed. Personally, I love my bed, so this provided a nice little soundtrack for that. The drawing and animation is on point, and matches perfectly with the song. Great job.

What you've managed to do here is create an excellent game overflowing with replay value. The presentation is flawless; the graphics, the music, the background images, everything looks and sounds perfect. The NG medals and stack tracking are more than enough reason for us gamers to continue playing this game time and time again. My only advice? Double the file size and make the game twice as long, possibly adding in new levels or new cities. A job very well done.

Nice presentation, overall. As a music artist in today's market and economy, I can honestly concur with you on the issue that musicians make most of their money from touring and merchandise. There's a whole intricate world with cd sales, with distributors and retail outlets, etc etc etc. Internet-based piracy via P2P has a limited impact on album sales. It's also unavoidable. There will always be a way to distribute music for free, whether the industry/government likes it or not. If you really want to see something scary, check out the PRO-IP Act, which was put into action by President George W. Bush last October. Check that out on google or wikipedia, and see what kind of police state we're living in.

This was executed perfectly, from the animation to the music and effects. I enjoyed seeing the splatters of both yellow and red, innovative and different. I can't imagine how long it takes you to make something like this, but your efforts paid off well. This is awesome.

Although that particular commercial has seen a great deal of parodies, I still managed to find this pretty funny. My favorite detail was when the bulldog was watching dog porn on the computer. Good stuff!

The simple structure of this game, matched by slick programming, has created one of the most addictive NG games of all time. Some of the medals seem difficult to obtain, but repetitive play will surely allow players to achieve the majority of these awards. I can't help but play this game over and over, performing executions with a lead pipe and picking up new weapons all the time. Kudos.

i disagree with the negative comments. this episode was long overdue, and is a blessing to all of us. it was just as creepy, weird and "firth"-y as the other episodes. the radio was very unsettling, and i loved the cameo by hubert cumberdale, who deserves his own talk show. this was brilliant, and i'm still proud to own my very own Salad Fingers t-shirt. 5/5

as both a frequent visitor to NG and a fan of films both independent and otherwise, i went into watching this without any bias. firstly, i will tell you that i have seen a great deal of short indie movies, 99% of which are from film students. i thought your film 4 Minutes had its pros and cons. the first piece of acting we see is laughable, i hated the girl on the computer. also, the second woman in the film with the sword provided terrible acting, matched with sloppy choreography. the music and score fit nicely, although i thought when the second rap song kicks in when we're introduced to the "bad guy boss," it seemed unnecessary.. perhaps just an instrumental would have sufficed. when the third song kicked in as the good guy was sniping people with a silenced gun, that was more appropriate. the bad guy boss himself provided the audience with mediocre acting capabilities, although his performance seemed Oscar-worthy compared to the false contact. --- here's the thing, the short film gave us some action sequences and rap music, but where's the substance? there was never a reason at all for me to care about the good guy or the bad guy.. so this guy in a mask is killing guys at a pool with guns, so? for all i know, the man on the cell phone was actually an okay guy. you need to make us GIVE A SHIT about the lead character. even a 35-second flashback of how the bad guy killed the good guy's girlfriend would be better than nothing at all. there was never a moment where i felt the murders were justified, or that justice was served. and the twist at the end, that didn't move me either.. because i never cared about any of the characters, good or bad. --- another point i'll give you is this - i see you made the point of saying DON'T BLAM THIS JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT A CARTOON. look, whether it says it in the official ToS or not, cartoon flash animations are indeed the reason why people come to this site. you may not find official documentation saying so, but it is anyway. and it would be ridiculous for you to get distraught over submitting something non-flash to a flash community and seeing it not do well. i understand both parts of the film passed the save/blam threshold.. but any active member of NG will tell you that saved submissions with high scores mean very little nowadays. groups of people submit shitty flash animations all the time, and get 100 of their friend to vote 5 and it gets rave reviews, although everyone else hates them. just a tip.

I can agree that the acting wasn't great. Sorry, but I don't have millions to hire big name actors, so college students had to suffice. In case you didn't notice, I cut the final battle from the abridged version for the very reasons you mentioned. I just included the full version so people see what it was like too. I personally liked the second rap song for the bad guys theme considering he's a drug dealer and the lines are "it's time to come together everybody grab your blunts and bongs". Now as for substance, I agree, there is none, but when you look on the flash equivalent which would be Bunnykill, we have no substance either. Why does a live action movie need to have substance and a cartoon not? Hell there's full length live action movies like Hard Boiled or Bad Boys 2 (both which inspired this) that had no substance to me either. It was just really cool to watch the bad guys get blown away. If I wanted substance I woulda made a movie like Memento.
